Top 10 First Dance Songs
I'm pretty sure if you put 20 Wedding photographers in a room the title of this blog would be ... 10 songs we never want to hear again. But the first dance song is the most important song of the evening. It's an intimate moment shared with family and friends, the moment when the couple dances for the first time with the shared last name. So the soundtrack to this scene should be just as special.
We do have the traditional songs that are played at just about 4 out of 5 weddings, but then you have that one that's just perfect for the couple.... it's their song. It could be the song that they heard when they first met, or the song where she spilled a cup of coffee or wine on his shirt!! My husband and I would have chosen Slide by the Goo Goo Dolls. Yes it's weird but it's our song, and would have made for a very interesting 1st dance.
