A Vibrant Affair with a Purpose

When Chris & Kelvin decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted their wedding to be a reflection of their vibrant personalities and their commitment to inclusivity. Their dream was to create a colorful, romantic event that not only celebrated their love but also supported the Black , Brown and LGBTQ+ communities.

A Colorful Palette

The couple chose a vibrant color palette to bring their vision to life. These bold hues were complemented by lush greenery and pops of gold, creating a luxurious yet playful atmosphere. The ceremony was held at Anthony's Oceanview, where the couple exchanged vows under a canopy of blooming flowers.

Supporting Black and Brown Vendors

One of Chris & Kelvin's most important goals was to hire Black and Brown and members of the LBGTQ+ communities as vendors for their wedding. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion was evident in every aspect of their wedding, from the DJ to the floral arrangements.

Capturing the Day with Nikon

To ensure that every moment of their special day was captured in stunning detail, Chris & Kelvin hired a BlaqPearl Photography who used a Nikon D850 and D810. The choice of equipment allowed me to capture the vibrant colors and intricate details of the wedding with exceptional clarity. The 70-200mm lens was ideal for capturing candid moments and portraits, while the 24-70mm lens provided versatility for both wide-angle and telephoto shots.
