Influencers in Leadership
Mar 24 2026 | By: BlaqPearl Photography
This weekend, I had the pleasure of providing photo coverage for an incredible gathering of individuals committed to leveling up in leadership and walking boldly in their purpose.
The experience was spearheaded by Stephen A. Robinson and Janet James, who poured into the room with wisdom, transparency, and a powerful call to action. Their message was clear: stepping into leadership requires more than desire—it requires a shift in mindset, a willingness to grow, and the courage to move forward even when it’s uncomfortable.
One of the biggest takeaways from the weekend was this:
You have to be intentional about the spaces you place yourself in.
Growth doesn’t happen by accident. When you surround yourself with environments that nurture your God-given gifts, you begin to walk in purpose—on purpose.
The event also featured a dynamic panel of leaders and speakers, including Shirley Moore and Quincey Williams, who each brought their own perspective on leadership, influence, and impact. Their insights reinforced the importance of not only developing yourself but also using your voice and platform to uplift others.
As a photographer, moments like these remind me that what I capture goes beyond images. It’s about documenting transformation, connection, and the quiet (and not so quiet) moments where people decide to step into who they are called to be.
This weekend wasn’t just an event—it was a reminder that leadership is a journey, and the right environment can change everything.
Don’t just watch from the outside next year…
Be in the room.
Be in the conversations.
Be in position to grow.
